Experience pure relaxation and rejuvenation at Harrison Hot Springs and Spa! Spend a whole day soaking in the hot springs and enjoying a spa treatment at the Healing Springs Spa.
Here is everything you need to know along with my amazing experience here.
Harrison Hot Springs and Spa is about a 90-minute drive from Downtown Vancouver. The drive to Harrison is incredibly SCENIC and enjoyable!
From Vancouver drive along Trans-Canada Highway 1 and follow the signs for 104 Avenue/160 Street. Take exit 135 for BC – 9 toward Agassiz/Harrison Hot Springs. Keep right at the fork and follow signs to Harrison Hot Springs. Continue on Agassiz-Rosedale Highway BC – 9 N until you reach Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa.
The best time to visit Harrison Hot Springs and Spa is during the winter months!
If you’re travelling during the winter season (mid-November through to mid-April) make sure your car has winter tires. This is important as you will not be allowed to drive on some roads without them.
If you book a massage or a spa treatment at the Healing Springs Spa you can request a FREE parking pass.
When you check-in at the Healing Spring Spa let the receptionist know your license plate number so they can arrange your free parking. We forgot to do this and almost got fined!
To enjoy the natural mineral pools you don’t have to be a guest staying at the hotel. You can purchase a guest pass from the Healing Springs Spa by booking a spa treatment which will allow you to stay and soak in the hot springs all day if you choose to!
Massage treatments cost anywhere from CAD 80 to 255 depending on the duration and the type of spa treatment. A 50-minute couple’s massage will cost you around CAD 260. It’s totally worth the pure relaxation and rejuvenation you experience!
I recommend visiting as a day guest instead of staying at the Resort. I have heard from friends that the best part of the Resort is the Hot Springs and Spa. The guest rooms are quite old and there really isn’t anything special about them.
However, Rowena’s Inn on the River is HEAVENLY so make sure to check out my blog post linked at the beginning of this article to find out more!
There are FIVE hot mineral pools, three outside and two inside. One of the outside pools is for adults only which I thoroughly enjoyed! No screaming kids and getting splashed every few minutes!
Check into the Healing Springs Spa as soon as you arrive even if your appointment is not at that time so the staff can give you a towel, bathrobe, and a locker key!
The moment we walked in we instantly felt relaxed from the feeling of the heat rising from the pools in the cold crisp air and listening to the calm spa music playing in the background.
We booked in to get a one-hour relaxation massage and it was a stress reliever for sure. The massage therapists here know what they are doing and how to make you feel relaxed.
For more information and to book a spa treatment visit the Harrison Hot Springs Resort website. Make sure to book your spa treatment in advance! Enjoy every minute of your experience at Harrison Hot Springs and Spa!
